When did you put your child in a regular booster?
I have the Graco Nautilus .......I like the idea of keeping him in the 5pt harness (he just turned 5 years old) ........but the strap between his legs seems like it's just not working out anymore ........
He's 42" tall

When did you put your child in a regular booster?
We have Nautilus too and my 4 year old uses the seatbelt in DH car- truck!
He is over 40 pounds and 41 inches

Switched DS to a booster at 40 pounds (he's 4). The buckle was getting too tight even on the biggest setting.

We have the Nautilus too and my DD is just over 5 1/2yrs old. We just ditched the five point harness about two weeks ago and she is using the seat as a booster (w/ the back in place still) with a regular seatbelt.

Older DS was 5, but younger DS is tiny. He'll probably be in the regular car seat a lot longer.

DS is 4, 42lb and 41 inches and he is in the Grace Affix (high back booster) with seat belt. I just asked the Ped and he said that was the way to for DS because of his size.

I think this will be us too because DD is just so tiny.
I really think it depends on the size of the child though, and their weight.
