when did u start putting your dc down for naps?
the concept of naps confuses me... when do you start, how many naps & for how long??

In my "baby bible" it says babies should nap 3 times a day for at least an 1hour each time.
I just recently started putting him down for naps and he's 2 months. Right now, he naps laying in his boppy on the couch. Sometimes I'll transition him to his pack-n-play, but he seems to get the best stretch of sleep in the boppy on the couch.

DS at 5 months still pretty much follows eat play sleep. His am nap is usually 2 or more hours his otjer naps are shorter 30 min to and hour

I EBFd. So I typically would nurse him to sleep. And he would nap about 3 times a day for all different times.
At 5 months I worked on getting him on a more firm schedule. By 6 months he was napping twice a day in his crib.
