when did u introduce whole milk
my dc will be 10 months in a week, i forgot to ask my ped when can i start introducing milk. when and how did you guys do it?

I think it's typically started at 1 year. Some do it earlier, some do it later.
I waited until DD was 13 months b/c I liked all the nutrients, etc. that she was getting from formula, esp. since she's not the best eater.

We did it at 11.5 months...we did it with no problems and cold turkey. DS never had any formula or feeding issues though.

We officially started it today. DS is turning 1 on Monday. We ran out of formula this morning and I figured he's close enough to a year 
So far no problems. I just switched him cold turkey, and he doesn't seem to know the difference!

At my DD's 9 month well visit, my doctor said do not introduce milk until 1 year.

I started at 10 months. I added 1oz of milk to 7oz of formula and added an oz every week.

I think almost every ped says to hold off until 1 year. We waited until DD was a bit over 13 months b/c she was EBF. Now at 16 months she still gets BM 5 out of 7 days per week at lunch and whole milk 2 days per week with lunch.
