We had guests RSVPing up until the RSVP date (and 2 days after)...
A few items came off here and there after that... maybe 10% of what we got....
then the other 90% of gifts were purchased in the week before... most of them literally the day before the shower!

People RSVPd up until the day before the shower or even better called the day of the shower to say they weren't coming! Don't get me started on this.
Items were purchased here and there around 3/4 weeks before the shower. The bulk was purchased the week of. The big items were bought the day before and day of.

I had a few things come off right after i registered but its stayed like that until today...all of a sudden like 20 things came off! I dont know anything about my shower but im thinking the invites went out this week, have no clue when it is or when the RSVP is....alot of the big tsuff is gone (exersaucer, infant seat, infant car seat, car seat, all the bath stuff, glider, bassinet,etc)

Shower guests responded sporadically between when invites were sent and the RSVP date.
On the RSVP date (Fri) we were missing a ton of RSVPs. We got a big chunk the last day and we're still missing a bunch but are assuming they aren't coming.
Stuff has been coming off the registry here and there but, a lot came off on Fri and Sat. My shower is in 2 weeks.

Stuff started coming off right away and pretty consistently. There was no big push at the end (there weren't really any items left at that point).
Not sure about RSVP - I wasn't involved.

My invitations went out this week. About 12 things were purchased already. Not HUGE items but still I was surprised it was so quick.
I havent checked today! I'm so proud of myself!

i had a few things purchased before invites went out. of course my mom had to get in contact with those who did not respond. i am a bit disappointed about who said no, but now i know who values us. my shower is in 12 days and only 24 items have been purchased. i am a very bad registry peeker. my bedding, furniture, diaper bad, and 1 carriage is not on my registry and i know that they are also bought already. im hoping more things disappear so, im getting excited!
