When did my son decide my name wasn't Mommy anymore...
Rachel. He called me Rachel.
Thats what happens when your mother is around all the time.
Rachel. Rachel. Rachel. Rachel.
They are going home tomorrow, I want my life back!! I love them being here, but I also love them leaving.

My DH called his parents by their first names for a couple years when he was young. MIL said it drove her nuts!
Hope your DS goes back to calling you mommy again soon!

ahhhhhhhhhhh. been there done that.
Taylor calls me Mommy Denise. Drives me nuts and she knows it. She only says it when she is trying to be cute and get my goat.
Otherwise I'm momma.
I dont' like momma. I like Mommy...oh well. I'm sure it is a phase, like everything else!
I think she gets mommy denise b/c I have a step son who calls me Denise. She always calls daddy, well daddy.

Patrick called my husband John all the time. I used to correct him. But, then I felt like the people around me that I don't know I sound like a mother who is trying to make her kid some other man dad. He got out of it. He just started calling him Pops recently. John hates it! LOL
