When did Essie Nail Polish become so expensive?
I always buy Essie nail polish and I usually pay $5.99 at Harmon. I went today and was shocked to see it for $7.49  I decided to only buy one and I figured I would order the rest of my colors on line. When I got home and did a search most of the sites had it for $8+ a bottle!!! What the heck happened? Why did it go up so much? Anyone else notice this?

I just got 2 bottles of Essie polish at Duane Reade and was  at the $8 price tag! I used to pay at most $6 not that long ago!

they had some at the flea market for $5, but i don't know if they are old.

Yes I used to pay $5.99 too! I really haven't paid attention to when the last time I paid that but it wasn't that long ago! $8.00 just seems like such a huge jump in price, but I still love their colors/polish, eventhough it chips too quickly.
