when DC is still in crib size bed, what do you do for sheets/comforters?
DD is almost 3 but still in her crib (which turns into a day and toddler bed). So what size do I get for sheets so she can finally have sheets/pillow/comforter?

I got a toddler bed set and it fits the crib mattress, though the quilt won't fit well without being able to hang down. But that's not a big deal.

same - they have a bunch at the baby stores (BRU and BBB) My DD has had dora and tinkerbell...I plan on getting my DS Toy Story

yes. A toddler bed uses a crib mattress not a twin mattress.
So you can get a toddler bedding set.

we have pottery barn toddler bedding...fits the crib mattress with a bigger roomier comforter
