When a TV is mounted on a wall?
Who usually does this? Do we do it ourselves. I told DH I am thinking we should get a small TV in our bedroom. If we do, I definitly don't want it on the dresser. Undecided whether we want it on a stand or mounted?

We mounted our flatscreen above our dresser . Dh drilled a hole in the wall, respackled/painted and ran PVC down the wall so the wires can reach the floor and you cannot see them.

DH mounted our TV himself...the kit came with an instructional DVD. Right now the wires are just hanging there since we're in an apartment and couldn't do anything serious to hid them.

We have a tiny tv in our bedroom and we bought a mount. It fits right in the corner between a window and a closet. I love that it's on the wall. Looks less cluttered. DH got the arm/mount on amazon and drilled it in.

Dh and and my dad mounted 2 of ours together. It was pretty easy for them to do. Just a pain when lifting the bigger tv. They also drilled 2 holes in each wall to feed the wires through so that they are hidden. It looks professionally done

We hired someone to do the tv in our great room and our bedroom. They both came out great. If you're very handy it can probably be a DIY job but I'd definitely read up on how to do it. It doesn't look like something you can really just wing.
