what's your doctor's opinion on having coffee?
So my doctor hasn't went over this with me at all, curious what everyone's doctor has said about caffeine intake? I usually only have 1 cup a day, so I'm hoping that's ok. I know for a fact my mom never gave up coffee for either of her pregnancies (and she drinks it morning noon and night!!).....I'm almost afraid to ask my doctor's opinion in case they tell me no coffee allowed!

He told me to keep it to one cup a day. That's all I have anyway. I'm not a soda drinker so don't have to worry about any extra caffeine.

me either, I drink water all day so hopefully my 1 cup a day habit is ok!!! I have become so tired the past few days I really need the caffeine!!

Re: what's your doctor's opinion on having coffee?
My doc said two cups max but to consider foods that have caffeine like chocolate in that daily intake...I probably have more chocolate than coffee actually.

Re: what's your doctor's opinion on having coffee?
I've read to limit it to one cup or 200 milligrams a day, keeping in mind you could be getting caffeine from other food or drinks that you ingest throughout the day. I personally choose to have chocolate over coffee
