What's wrong with my good baby?
Steven will be 3 months next week. Up until now, he was always such a good boy. I had to change his formula when he was about 4 weeks due to bad gas, but other than that, NO problems. At 8 weeks he was sleeping through the night. He hardly ever cried.
Well, in the past week all that is changing. he is soooooo cranky that I get frustrated. He has been pooping 3x a day and it was very watery (he's formula fed--this morning it had a little more substance thank goodness), he is not eating all of his meals, not napping nearly as much as he used to and worst of all...he is waking up every night around 2 or 3 and is up for 2 hours.
My once happy, smiley laughing baby now seems miserable. I will get him to laugh, but he's not as happy as usual. What could be wrong? Should I call the pediatrition?

You can call the doctor if you are concenred.
But it's possible he could be teething or maybe he's got a stomach virus?

Could be teething - all the drool causes watery stools and the other symptoms you mentioned. Have you tried Tylenol to see if that helps?

Re: What's wrong with my good baby?
I was also thinking it could be teething because he sucks on his hands and is drooling like crazy. His gum is very white, but I don't see a blister.
I haven't given him Tylenol because I wasn't sure if that's what was wrong. I am going to try that tonight.
Should I still feed him when he gets up in the middle of the night? I feel like since he doesn't finish his bottles during the day he must be hungry.
Thanks ladies!

I would ask the doctor about feeding him during the night because of what's been going on during the day.
If he is drooling a lot then he is definitely teething.

Re: What's wrong with my good baby?
I'd feed him at night if he'll take it, if he is not finishing bottles during the day. It hurts them to suck on the bottle for very long, and their tummys can be off too w/all that drool being swallowed. Good luck, keep usposted!

I definitely think its teething!!! the chewing on the hands, the drool and the watery poop are definite signs! Sydney ate less when her teething was at its worst and would also wake up during the night, which she never really does anymore. I fed her when she woke up if I thought she was hungry, I worried it would start a bad habit but it totally didnt. Also, I never saw a blister or anything, one day there were just 2 teeth poking through!
