Whats The Point?
Of getting a beta done when all you see are negative HPTs? I am 11 dpo and just got another BFN this morning. I really dont see the point in leaving work early and driving 45 minutes and pay $15 for them to tell me its negative.
What do you guys normally do if you keep seeing BFNs? Do you get your beta done anyway?

In all my cycles i never went for a beta. I always got  before anyway.

Sorry about tbe BFNs 
Lets see.. My first cycle with Dr.B I went even though I was getting negative HPTs.. .my second cycle I kept getting negatives and I was going to cancel the beta because like you .. I saw no point.. and then I ended up getting AF the day of my beta  .. for my 3rd cycle I got a BFP so I went for my beta the day before my schedule one even...
Honestly if I had to do it over I would just wait for a positive HPT to schedule a beta at all.. or if AF doesn't show up after like 16dpo or something..

Sorry you are getting neg HPT's.
Butl, you need to be careful. I know a number of people who had negative HPT's leading up to and including the day of beta, only to find out that they had pos beta's. I know the likelihood is slim but there is definitely a chance and you should go to make sure before you accidentally take yourself off meds etc...
Another reason, if you had a chemical your beta number would be higher than 5 and you should know if that happened also.
But, I am telling you someone I know had her DS 4 months ago and she had a neg HPT the morning of her pos beta. And I think her beta was around 100. So it wasn't a low beta either.
Those tests are not that accurate.

af usually wont show up if your on progesterone supps... for you. 11dpo is still early

i have done both. once when i waited for AF i ended being several days late with all BFNs and i finally scheduled a beta. it came back at 5 and i found out i was having a chemical.
the next cycle i took HPTs at 12DPO and got BFP's. i originally had a beta scheduled for 15DPO (since that day was more convenient for me). Because of the BFP's I went in for the beta at 14DPO (cause it was the weekend) and thought everything was fine, ended up not rising and had another chemical.
anyway you can wait it out but like a PP said if you are on progesterone it could delay AF. i usually wait for AF anyway. good luck!!

Only with IVF did I go for the beta, knowing it was neg. And that was only b/c I was on the progesterone and wouldn't have gotten AF without stopping the meds. Didn't feel like wasting the $20 co-pay all the other times.

Well.... I had 3 medicated cycles.
1st- I stopped the progesterone early because I was on a different type that was giving me bad side effects- and since I was getting all BFNs, Dr.B said it was ok to just stop even at like 12dpo because I was SO uncomfortable on them... I got AF 2 days later
2nd- I got AF while using Crinone at 14dpo
3rd- BFP! Still using Crinone at 9 weeks......
