What's the going rate for babysitting?
I had 2 teens watch Gavin for 5 hours and there was some discussion about how much I should pay them......
What's the norm?

IMO, $8 MAYBE $10 per hour would be fair.
But from what I hear it's more like $12 - $15.
Which is always strange to me because on the other "nanny" thread, the standard is not even that high. Why do people pay sitters more than they pay nannies?
