Since this is my first Christmas being unemployed, I'm going low key this year. I bought DH a leather jacket from Wilson Leather for $100. They were having an awesome sale and I couldn't pass it up, even though we said no presents this year.

It's a tie between the Uggs I got my mom, the digital writing pad for my dad, and the GPS for FIL's bike. DH I got a few smaller gifts but not one huge one. MIL's gift was expensive but that is a Nike warm up suit and I think it is more overpriced than a big-ticket item per se.

My big ticket price was $150, but I spent that a couple of times. I got my niece tickets for The Little Mermaid on Broadway, I bought DH (and kind of me too  ) a small flat panel TV/DVD player for under the kitchen cabinets, got DH a cashmere sweater, my sister and Ipod, and my SIL a GC for Home Depot because she just bought a house.

probably my MIL's GPS, $108. Honestly, this year I didn't buy any "big ticket" items. My DH, parents, etc got a batch of $20 items, you know.
Oh, I'm giving my assistant $100 at work. I guess that would be a big ticket.
