What's on your Christmas list?
I was just thinking of how every year I love to get pretty sweaters for Xmas but this year I am pg and DO NOT want ANY maternity clothes as gifts. I also don't want anything baby related (even if it is intended for the mother)
What are the types of things you are telling DH/parents/siblings/friends?

I am going to start telling people NOW that I don't want any more maternity clothes. I am due in the begining of February. If I need something new, I will buy it.
I want books (non motherhood related)

A chaise lounge to sit in..so after dinner I can stay downstairs-(no room on couch) and for my three months of bedrest.
a digital camera...my bday is dec 22 too.
I usually get ripped off though

I have a feeling I am getting jack.
This poor Dec 18th baby and his mom are already going to get gipped.
People are buying for the baby, and then paying high airline prices to come. I think it will be a bare christmas tree.
I swear, I will have a half birthday for this kid every year. As a summer baby myself, I don't understand how this is going to work. so June 18..I will be having a cake at my house.

I usually put things I'd like on my Amazon wishlist (movies, CDs, books) and DH gets a lot of stuff from there. My parents always give me money or a mall gift card. But I can't think of anything I really want. I wouldn't mind getting baby stuff- then it's less we have to spend our own money on, which may mean that I can be home from work even a little longer.

My b-day is Dec. 26- my dh is already discussing my gift for both Hence the hint for an SLR camera since they are so expensive

My parents tried the 1/2 birthday thing- it didn't work really well since it wasn't really my birthday and felt weird. I even had a 16 1/2 party since I wanted it outside and no one gave me gifts. Its a bummer.

Since I am due a week after Christmas I asked for gift certificates. I have no idea what size I'll be afterward and at least I'll have a fun shopping excursion to look forward to.

So far all I have on my list is stuff for the apartment. We just got new everyday dishes so I want the pieces (platters, etc) that go with it. I have crystal & china on my list too. Soooo boring. I better come up with some good stuff!

I want a new refrigerator, new sliders to the deck, and a new pillow-top mattress. Oh and a flat-screen for the bedroom, and a safe.
What will I get? Maybe one of these, and some stuff I neither need not want. Still too early for baby stuff tho..
