What's Next?
Ok, so we have a fully executed contract 
House inspection is done. I just sent out the paperwork to the mortgage company to officially apply for the mortgage. What's next? When do we need to get the homeowner's insurance lined up? What else needs to be done before closing?

Call to get quotes for home owners.....and then I believe your Mortgage broker will call your real estate agent to arrange the appraisal of the house.
Now mostly a lot of waiting until everything gets drawn up.
Is the seller in a rush to close?

after you get a quote for homeowners insurance, they can have a paid receipt for you that day. Now you just wait for a closing date... and pack!
