Just when he was starting to grow up a bit more he seems to be moving back. Started out with the terrible 3's like everyone was talking about. Around 3.5 he was potty trained and sleeping better in his bed through the night, does well in school, etc.

Now he's 4 and acting more like a baby then he did when he was a baby?!
More whining, waking in the middle of the night for me and almost at the same time each night. He is fine, but just wants to be with me... nothing is making me think nightmares or he's sick. He is just like clockwork with everything.
He wants to be carried more suddenly too.
He has a 2 yr old younger brother who doesn't whine like him. I notice my 4yr old mimics my 2 yr old too doing the baby talk. Well, not baby talk but broken sentences like my 2 yr old does.
Why is he taking steps back?
