what's better than spanx?!
so i bought this totally cute tight black lacy dress from modcloth for a wedding thanksgiving wedding but i did not realize my "pooch" was so bad!! i have spanx, but really i dont think they make much difference! i'm going to do everything in my power to tone up by then ,but i dont know if i have enough time to make a difference!! is there a miracle garment out there that i can get?! i love the dress and dont want to have to buy another one because of my gut!!

I have one that is Vedette brand and its amazing. Its very heavy duty, its like very thick spanx, but it flattens everything out.
I would suggest you try double up spanx, like get a pantyhose and a corset thing, if that's not cutting it, I guarantee this will.

Flexees - they sell them at maiden form. They have great ones that you wear as like a slip under your dress and it slims you

I don't have that exact one, but I wear mine for weddings. I couldn't wear it to work, but it is fine for a wedding even if it is a long day.

seriously.... so unnecessary. Just a note on tact, you can still be skinny and have a pooch.
I think the ladies gave some great suggestions. I wear spanx but agree it doesn't always do the job. I'm sure you will look great.
