What's a good photography magazine?

One that's geared towards giving tips and building your skills? TIA!

I don't know of a magazine, but my friend's sister sent me this link...

http://www.michaelthementor.com/

He provides a free online tutorial about how to take good pictures. It isn't anything to difficult or crazy.

Re: What's a good photography magazine?

I'm a big fan of Scott Kelby's Digital Photography books - volume 1 & 2 - very straightforward, fun and easy reading and full of great - use-it-now tips that don't take much effort to learn. No heavy detail - just "set your camera like this if you want to take a picture like this" advice.

Another great series is Bryan Peterson - Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively are two of his titles.

Photo Books

A good beginners magazine for Canon DSLR users is PhotoPlus - out of Britain so it's pricy - about $13.00 but it comes with a CD full of photoshop tutorials. Lots of good how-to tips on the functions of the camera itself, and basic skills. I've found it at Borders in with the photo magazines.
