what would you do? BBB vs BRU
So I definitely prefer BBB and really want to register there, but they don't seem to have locations everywhere like BRU does.
From what Ive found online, only a handful of people coming to my baby shower don't seem to have one close by.
I wouldn't care figuring that those people could just order online, but two of them happen to be my MIL and SIL. DH doesn't think his mother and sister would appreciate having to order gifts for their grandchild or niece/nephew on the computer.
I don't want to register at both places because it would be too confusing and time consuming.
Would u still register at BBB just because you like it better OR just register at BRU bc it's more convenient for my in-laws?

I just did BBB. People can always have stuff shipped if they can't ge there. Or give a gift card. I had people from all over and only did BBB and no one had issues. They either brought or shipped the stuff to us before.

Re: what would you do? BBB vs BRU
I was having a hard time with this. We ended up doing both. I put everything on BBB and duplicated some items on BRU... i will just take it off one if I see it get fulfilled on the other.
Also, the highchair and pack n play we wanted was only at BBB and the patter of the infant seat we wanted was only at BRU.
I know alot of my family and friends will prefer BRU cause that is what they are used to and its more convenient so I figured I would do one there but keep it smaller. But we totally prefer BBB.

I'd stay away from BRU. Just do Target for them or something instead. (I happen to love Amazon's registry but people don't seem to like to register there.) But it's up to you. We're just trying to save you aggravation.

I just did BBB. I figured if anything people could either order online or just buy stuff that isn't on the registry.

I put the majority of my items and the big stuff (PNP; high chair car seat) on the BBB; and smaller stuff on BRU. I did end up duplicating towels; bibs etc on both. I do have a high chair on both as well; but I willl keep an eye and see where it (if) get's purchased from and remove the duplicate.

We did both...but the majority at BBB because we had huge issues with BRU while ordering our baby furniture.

Thanks, I was mainly concerned that my inlaws would have to order gifts online, not so much any other guests. I'm sure other guests wouldn't care, but it might feel too impersonal for my in-laws to have to buy gifts on the computer....not sure what i'll do but thanks for the input!!

I think that if people don't have a BBB near them, they may just buy something not on your registry from whatever store is local to them. If you're ok with that, then I think it's fine only registering at 1 place.

I registered at BBB although there weren't many around me either. The experience I had there was amazing. They are way diff then bru. They are so knowledgable and take the time to sit and stay with you to help. They have a lot more selection of products. Everything is so organized. I would def register there.
