What would you do?

Long story:
So far I have had 5 IUI and they all failed. Last month was the first month with Clomid 50mg I had 8 eggs but 3 were big and DH numbers were great with back to back IUIs. Anyhow BFN. So we have been planing to meet up with friends for the weekend out of state but I don;t know what to do because if we do another cycle of IUI it would be during that weekend? What should I do? Cancel the IUI and wait another month, or cancel with our friends. This planed trip was since two months ago and we only see them once a year.

Also IUI number 6 will be the last IUI.

Obviously this is a total personal decision, but it were me, I'd want to take a break. I would go away for the weekend with my friends..........you can still try naturally without the IUI. Would you consider doing a natural cycle this month.......whether it's with or w/out clomid?

Otherwise, IMO, what is another month?

Have you gone for any further testing to see what can be the possible cause of the BFN's?

Totally agree it's a personal choice. I have heard many success stories of people taking a much needed cycle off or small break and good things have happened. enjoy life and your friends (-:
