What would you do?
When would you do your next IVF cycle. History - all happened consecutively:
45 yr, high fsh, quality/quantity issue
3 failed IUI - unmedicated 1 failed IVF - 1 follie/1 embryo 4a next IUI medicated - on 300 follistim 150 menopur - cancelled since e2 didn't rise
I am switching to Braverman. I have 2 autoimune issues which prevent implantation. numbers slightly elevated and he would treat with prednisone and iv treatments.
Now, I am currently on provera for remainder of my cancelled IUI cycle. He said he wants to do lupron support in luteal phase then estrogen priming for IVF cycle. I have no problem doing this question is when.
Would you wait for AF to come now and then begin above treatment or would you wait 1 cycle for all chemicals to be out of system, see what body does with next af, then begin?
I began DHEA and it takes a good 3 months for optimium results and I hate chemicals in body so I don't know if I should detox first. Or does it make a difference. Thanks ladies
Ann

Re: What would you do?
I would wait the one cycle. Only because my cycle following IVF is all screwed up coming off the meds.

Re: What would you do?
I would also wait one cycle..it's not a real break, it's just a month and it may help your body get back to normal.

Re: What would you do?
I would definitely wait a month. My RE always says you need at least a month in between cycles.

Re: What would you do?
I hate to say this but if you want the DHEA to work you need to take a break for 3 cycles. I'm serious. And I really think it made a huge difference with the number of eggs I got. In the past I had the most 8 eggs retrieved, this last cycle I had 15. I know you are getting older each day but if you are trying the DHEA you need to give it time to work.

I was going to say the same thing. The only person I know to use it said it took 3 cycles to work. GL!!
