What would you do?
I made an appointment on Friday for CD #3 blood/sono for tomorrow (since today was Easter Sunday). When I called on Friday, I started spotted and assumed 7 days after stopping my 5 day provera RX, that AF was on it's way. Since Friday night, I haven't seen a trace of it - nothing!!! I was so sure it was making her appearance because of the light brownish/red spotting on Friday. Technically, I am not on CD # 3 anymore because it stopped, but I am almost 11 days past my last provera pill. Do I go in anyway to see what they say and see if they'll run blood work to figure out what's going on? Or do I cancel the appointment? I am so confused....

I have never been on provera but I would keep the appointment and see if you can get some bw done to see what is going on. Good luck!

Re: What would you do?
Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I am just going to be so if I go there and they tell me they can't help me until I get AF in full force....

Re: What would you do?
AF got heavier for me today and I have some AWFUL cramps! however I am going to keep my appointment tomorrow as well for bloodwork and a sonogram and i'll tell them it's CD2 for me... i 'technically' started lightly bleeding yesterday off and on but no enough for me to count it as cd1... i know when ppl just can't make CD3 appointments they'll do cd2 or cd4 for them instead so you should be ok... keep us posted!!!

Thing is - I haven't bled since Friday AM when I spotted - there hasn't been ANYTHING since. So technically, I haven't started my new cycle yet. I wish I knew what to do....UGH!

Re: What would you do?
don't stress about it. just go in the morning- they could probably charge you anyway for canceling so last minute so I'd stick it out and see what he says... it can't hurt to get a sonogram (as long as you have medical insurance to pay for it!)

Yes, my insurance does cover it! I just hope they agree to do blood and sono. It's already 11 days past my last provera pill, which is pretty long. I don't want them to turn me away....Why can't any of this EVER be easy?

Re: What would you do?
I would go, if nothing else, to check your hormone levels. Maybe you just had a really light AF, sometimes that happens on provera, especially if you have just had an anovulatory cycle.
