What Would You Do?

a friend of mine and i are done with.

unfortunatly we share a website together
(my fault completly... it was MY site totally created by me, but i gave her equal power)

thing is, a mutual friend met her and gae her a gift for Dharma.
after that, EVERYTIME i saw her she would forget to bring it.

now, i dont plan on ever seeing her again and she still has Dharmas gift.

What should i do?

should i ask her to send it to me?
or
should i tell the mutual friend, i dont think that dharma is ever going to get her gift, tell her to send it back so her dog can have it?

i was thinking of just asking her to mail it to me.

I would tell the friend who purchased the gift that you are no longer friends with the other person and that she should ask for the gift back. Then your friend can either keep it or mail it to you.

i asked her and she said just to wait alittle bit to see if it blows over then take it from there if it doesnt

i would ask your friend to casually say, "oh by the way jes said she never received the gift for dharma that i gave to you. i plan on seeing jes this week so can i get it back from you so that i can give it to her?" not confrontational just very casual.

BTW - why didn't your friend give you the gift personally?

she lives in Ohio. she fostered a dog and the other girl went to pick him up (she adopted him) and thats when the first girl gave it to her, since me and the 2nd girl used to hang out.... but EVERYTIME i saw her she forgot it.

I would drop it at this point. You told your friend that you won't be seeing the one you are not talking to...she can decide if she wants to get the gift back or send another one to you for Dharma or not.
