what would you do?
my sister is having a surprise 30th b-day party in 2 weeks. i just found out my parents are coming up from florida for it. they'll be staying by my sister whose moving to merrick(i have 2 sisters). they're coming in on wed. i told my sister the soonest i could c ome out there w ould be on friday or saturday. she tell me that my bil has a bowling tourney in yonkers on that saturday and my parents may go. do i think i should tell me parents that i wo uld like to spend the day will them.

If you want to spend the day with them, then yes you should tell them.....They might not realize your available and are just going to watch BIL to have something to do.....

I guess you don't want to go to the tournament? I would say something to your Mom & Dad like, "I'd love to see you on Saturday but Sister says you're going to the tournament." And see what they want to do.

maybe if they asked if we w ant to go, i would consider it. i would rather spend the time with my parents
