What would you do?
I started a new job last week. I know that I need to give it time but I am not loving it at all. From the time I signed the offer until the day I started they made changes in my position, who I report etc. The people there are nice but the company is just not what I thought it was. Here is the dilemena I was offered a position at a very well known company but right now it is through an agency. The money is about 13k more. However you have to start off their "on contract" They have told me that they hire most people with 1 yr. I do not need medical benefits and this could really be a great opporitunity. I am just nervous about the fact this isnt permanet right away. I want to do it but I am hesitant.
Any thoughts/concerns? TIA

Re: What would you do?
As someone who jumped into the freelance pool in January, I can tell you anything other than staff can be scary.
As long as you prepare yourself for the fact that this may not be permanent then you should go for it. Especially if you don't need benefits.
Are you sure you don't like the job you just started because of this offer??? You should sit and make an informed decision.
If this new position didn't work out, would you be able to easily get another job right away?
And if you leave this job so quickly, would you be burning a bridge?

Thank you so much! Their is truth in everything you said. I didnt like walking into the present company and having everything that was discussed in the final interview be totally different. The more I learn about the company each day the harder it is for me. I could find a job if something happened how long to do that is the question.
As far as burning bridges ehh not so sure. I would just be polite and tell them this isnt for me. etc.
