What would you do?
Okay- Heres the situation:
I got invited to a bridal shower for a friend (Im really not that close with ) on June 10th. I rsvp'd that I will attend. However, a close friend of mines sister decided to throw her a bridal shower last minute (she was going through some family issues). Same day, same time. I would love to go to my close friends shower. Would it be really wrong for me to cancel the 1st one I already rsvp'd for? I was thinking of attending both since both restaurants are like a mile apart from each other.
What is your opinion?

I would go to both. IMO, don't cancel. just show your face and then go to the other one

go to the one you RSVP to already for the 1st hour...then leave and spend the rest of your time at your close friend's shower.

ITA. It would be one thing if you didn't already RSVP that you'd be attending.
I'd show up to that one first, stay for a little and then say a last minute emergency came up...leave...and go to the other shower.
