What would you consider my actual due date?

I wasn't sure when my last period was so we estimated and the OB gave me a due date of Feb 3rd. When I had a sono they told me how many weeks/days I was and that would make my due date Jan 30th. I went to the OB today they told me that since the two dates are so close they're not going to change what they originally had written down.

I know due dates are just estimates but I assumed we would be going by what the sono said. What would you consider my due date to be?

That happened to me to...at my first appt they told me my EDD was 12/24 @5 wks. When I went back in 2 weeks they est. i was 8 weeks and a few days instead of 7 wks. They kept my EDD the same bc they said there is usually give a margin of +/- a week

I would go with what the sono came up with, since the date of your LMP was just an estimate

My Dr won't change it if it's plus/minus 5 days since it's just an estimate.

They went by the sono for me but it was a 10 day differential (little do they know I bear enormous children so my original date was probably on target ).

I'd just stick with Feb 3rd but assume you may be going early.
