What works for your child..share here..

Lets post silly little tactics that we have found that work for our children..

Like..I have noticed that when I put Megan in her bassinet, if I dont put up the hood, she will fall asleep faster for some reason. When she falls asleep, I gently put it up and she stays asleep. Also, the sound on the bassinet mobile that puts her to sleep the most is the cricket sound, if I put anything else on, she stays awake..once I put the cricket on, shes out!

Sometimes I have to hold the paci up againts Ryan's mouth so he wont spit it out and get mad. Once he takes it he usually gets drowssy/falls asleep
alos I haev a sleep CD that instantly calms him (usually) probably because Ilistened to it while pg. It was part of is bedtime routine but now I have to sooth him with it for naps too (when he naps)

Michael falls alseep in his crib with the Fisher Price Aquarium on and when the music stops I have to keep playing it until he is fully alseep before shutting it off.
