What window treatment for a large window in a kitchen

very traditional kitchen, cherry cabinets, ornate with korbels etc...I was thinking cherry wood blinds, but not sure..it's one large square window

ETA: Its not over a sink or anything really, just on a far wall that has no cabinets on it...also I'm not a fan of valances etc in a kithen

I think the cherry blinds could work really well, unless you think it is too much of the same tone wood.

I saw the previous thread on plantation shutters --- really like that look. Could that be an option?

Also, not sure if there are privacy issues, but do you need a window treatment? I have a huge bay window in my eat-in kitchen, but it faces our backyard, which is very private (high hedges, etc.) and no one can really see in. I struggled with what to do with the windows, and ultimately, I did nothing. I like the light that comes in, and in the spring/summer, we always have the windows open. But that's a bay window at the far end of a long eat-in kitchen. I don't know if it would look too stark to leave your window as is.

We have a very large window in the kitchen, 86 x 67, or something like that. We ordered plantation shutters. They haven't come in yet, so I can't comment on how they look, but I have high hopes that they will look great!
