what whould you do
hi my name is antonia i have a 5 year old dd and on monday night she had a fever i took her to the doctor and the did a test for strapped throat i called yesterday and the doctoe said it's not he said it's viral so she has a fever seen monday night durning the day it's at 102 and at night it's 104 she i take her the hospital . what would you do help

i wouldn't take her to the hospital.. give her tylenol and if the temp is over 102 give motrin.. you can alternate them every 3 hours.. so that you are giving them each every six. hope that makes sense... call your ped for the dosage or calculate it on the back of the bottle

my dd has been know to get over 104 fevers. did the doctor check her ears and chest to rule out an ear infection or pnuemonia?? if he did, its most likely a virus. you have to let them run their course. give her lots of liquids to prevent dehydration and give her motrin to keep the fever down. if there is no improvement in 2 days or she seems worse, i would bring her back to the doctors.
