What Were Your Ultrascreen #s & Results???
Just wonderng if you wouldn't mind sharing. I just got mine. The Trisomy 13/18 decreased drastically to 1:1,000, but the DS increased slightly. Instead of having the risk of a 32 year old, it puts me at the risk of a 33 year old. I know it's not a big deal, but I'm doing CVS anyway, b/c I am just a need to know person and I'm not comfortable with the increased risk.
Anyway, my #s were:
NT: 1.9
hCG: 1.15
PAPP-A: 0.39 (I think it was this number that icreased the odds).
Just wondering what everyone else's numbers were.

To be honest I don't remember. She told me what they were but followed up with the fact that were good numbers so I put it out of my head. It's hard to compare too, because everyone's here will also be different depending on their age and at what week (gestationally) that they took the test.

I honestly do not remember the exact numbers, all I heard was my odds of having a baby with Downs was that of an 18 year old! Made me happy!

It's very hard to compare to others based on many different factors.
I'm 37, off the top of my head, I know my chance of downs went from 1:135 to 1:872 after my Ultrascreen. My PAPP-A was very low, which only concerned my Dr. after my AFP/Quad Triple Screen numbers came back. I know everything is good with my little girl (due to having an Amnio). However, due to my low PAPP-A number, I get 3 more sonos in my 3rd trimester starting at 28 weeks to just check on the growth of the baby.

My office didn't even give me numbers. They simply told me my results came back "normal".

Honestyl I think you are fine. I am 33 and had the chances of a 45yr old. I was 1:23 for Downs.

With my 1st I was 27 and had the results of a 40 yr old...1 in 114. My ds is perfectly healthy now!

I am beginning my 18th week on Thurs. with twins. I had my ultrascreen at 12 1/2 weeks and my results were 1/6000 for each baby. My #'s were much lower before the test b/c I'll be 35 when I deliver. My Afp results came back and my results were better they were 1/49,000. I get very confused with all of this. My doctor told me these numbers are good so i'll trust him.

I am not sure of the numbers you posted, but I know my ratios were 1:44,000 for DS and 1:100,000 for trisomy. After the quad screen, my DS number went to 1:66,000 and trisomy stayed the same.
Did they give you a ratio for the DS?

Mine did too but i called them back and specifically asked for the ratio
I wanted to know since I will be 35 when DS is born

My ration for Downs went from 1:458 to 1:423. I know that's not terrible, but I was hoping for some of the great odds that some of the ladies on here had. That would have put my mind at ease. These numbers, especially with the slight increase didn't. They did a very thorough sonogram again after seeing the ratios and there were no soft markers. They looked at blood flow, nasal bone, etc. so I do feel good that everything looked good on that end, but the #s still scare me. I'm going for the CVS in a few hourse and I'm a nervous wreck! After 2 m/c, I'm a bit of a worry-wart in case you couldn't tell.

I'm sorry - best of luck with the test today. I known how scary the unknown can be esoecially for us mommies-to-be! Your numbers are still very good and the odds of having a baby with DS are very slight. My dr doesn't even suggest more invasive tests until the numbers are way lower than yours but understand needing the reassurance- I'm sure I'd be the same . I'll be thinking of you and please keep us posted!
