"What was going through your mind??"
WHY WHY WHY do news reporters ask this DUMBA$$ question to people when they're involved in some sort of tragedy????
Umm....let me see...
there's a crazed lunatic with a shotgun and three handguns, pointing and SHOOTING at me or anyone within range - WHAT DO YOU THINK WAS GOING THROUGH MY MIND?????

Usually, when I think I may get shot by a lunatic with a high-powered rifle, I'm thinking about what to have for dinner, or maybe what shirt to wear tomorrow.....
I'm not a big fan of most news reporters, and this is one of the reasons.....
