What was going on at Grand Central? *Update - found out what it was
I got off the train at Grand Central and see these 3 young ladies in bikinis walking to the train - strange, but whatever. As i get into the main terminal, I see random women in bikini wear - like women wearing a suit skirt, with a string bikini top. Another was wearing a full on bikini in black pump holding her brief case. There were a whole bunch of them and they weren't together - they were walking separately, just randomly like they were going to work...very strange. The best part is that typical new york commuters didn't even look twice. funny

Supposedly this insurance firm in NJ has Bahama fridays - people wear bikinis, bathing suits and the office is all decorated like bahamas. There is a website www.Bahamafridays.com all about firms getting relaxed on fridays. Bizarre. thanks - i must have posted just about the same time - i posted the other news report about how it all started - i don't think i would be so psyched to work in a firm like that. The manager totally reminds me of michael from the The Office - he would totally do something like that.

I love how there is ONE girl in a full bikini and then everyone else is mixing it with work attire. . . If I had anything like that in my office I wouldnt participate LOL but if I had to I sure as heck wouldn't take the train like that!

I didn't see any of those people this morning, but I did notice that there were a lot of school groups in Grand Central this morning. I'm sure the chaperones LOVED that little stunt.

So what I don't get is- ok you have a Bahamas Friday in the office- you chose to come in in beach attire (I would NEVER but to each his own) but why would you take the train in like that?
Commute through Grand Central?
Why not cover up and /or change at work?
It's not even hot out yet.
