What type of lawyer should i contact?
Long story short, Nissan Motor finance company is putting me in collections for money that i DO NOT owe them.
I have worked my whole life to maintain good credit, always pay my bills on time
etc. Right now I am working with nissan and the collection agency to take this off my report but I am getting the run around.
My question is what type of lawyer would handle a matter like this. I am sooooo angry and will never do business with Nissan again.

any type of litigation lawyer would most likely be able to help you. Or you could try a bankruptcy lawyer since they deal with creditors and collection.

I am trying to work with them now, trust I don't want to pay a lawyer!!!!!!!
I am not sure if it is on my report yet, I already did my free credit report about a month ago.

I am not sure if it is on my report yet, I already did my free credit report about a month ago.
ask them if it is......if you are trying to work with them then they most likely did not report it yet. DO you think you dont owe them anything or are you disputing the amount?
At this point if you are still in dialogue with them thats all an atty will do.....try to work it out with them and only get an atty if it get to legal with the collections. If you do need an atty a general litigation atty can do it.....

Thank you, Nissan and a debt collector is speaking with me. I do not
owe them any money.
