what to write in xmas card?
this may be a stupid question but it is the first time I am sending xmas cards and I dont know what else to add than what it is already print on it.. Please I need ideas.

LOL- I started a thread about this today!
What I like to do is write a little one liner.
Rather than just writing- Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year though, I like to make it more personal.
I will say something like - Enjoy your first holiday with the new baby
or
Looking forward to seeing you guys on Christmas Eve
or somethign that applies to them.
This is just for people I am close with.
For everyone else I just put Enjoy the Holidays- or something like that.

I usually answer questions with more questions...
Do you want something funny, serious, religious, secular... Is it a photo card? Even if it isn't, do you want the wording to tie-in with the card?

It is not a photo card and is a generic type of card.. I just want to put something else other than just our names so it look like we did something other than write down our names

I usually write something like:
"Wishing you a ____________ and a Happy New Year"
Then i write either Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah in the blank
for my fellow teacher friends I add "Have a restful vacation"

When i write out holiday cards i write:
Dear _____ & ________
Merry christmas and a Happy , Healthy New year. (2009)
Or
Dear _____ & _______
Happy Hannukah and a Happy, Healthy new year. ( 2009) Than write a little something if i haven't seen them in a while.
You'll do fine.
