What to leave at daycare?
My dd is starting at daycare in 2 weeks. When i went to go drop off her medical and other paperwork the daycare owner said to just drop off diapers bottles and her formula to keep there but I was wondering if you send in anything else in to leave there such as extra clothes, bibs etc or do you just send that in a diaper bag daily? Tia!

Re: What to leave at daycare?
Thanks! Do you also leave medicine there such as Tylenol or just bring in when needed?

Re: What to leave at daycare?
Three back-up outfits - each with socks. Socks are the first things to get wet or messy, lol. (scary but there were days he went through almost all three sets of extra clothes )
Not sure how old your child is but, for me, he started when he was six months old. Now, he is two years old. Anyway, in the beginning:
big box of diapers (just easier to not have to replenish that often) big box of wipes diaper cream or ointment formula and whatnot was brought daily a "lovey" or some kind of stuffed animal to nap with a teether or teethers like Sophie his binky to nap with extra blanket from home (my center provides linens, blankets, and sheets so we never had to bring those in, and they wash them on site daily, but I wanted an extra blanket from home that smelled like home) a jacket or zip up hoodie (when the weather gets chilly things like hats and gloves are good too) - my center, on a day where they can and weather permits, will take them on long stroller rides throughout the property since they have sixteen acres. bibs - some for food and some for crafts tylenol or motrin along with orajel (usually they have you fill out clearance forms for this) but my son's center does keep certain OTC medications for each child. Each child has a cubby with things like that in it -- kept in an office, under lock and key, and when they need it, they are given it. My center will call first, explain that Julian is gnawing his hand off and I'll say OK, go ahead and give him... whatever.
...when he got older and was on real food I would keep "extra" snacks and food there for if whatever they gave him wasn't cutting it and he was still hungry
...at my center they go out a lot so as he got older of course a hat was always a must. my son is fair-skinned so sunscreen, I always keep that there.
ETA -- you can see an example of the bib for crafts here, in my album:

I'm surprised they don't give you a list.
We leave 2 changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, diaer cream/ointment, bibs, a blanket and/or sleep sack, a sheet, paci, formula. Bottles/sippy cups are sent in daily. Sheets, blankets, sleep sack are sent home every Friday to be washed.

I don't bring a diaper bag every day. Only if someone besides me or DH will be picking her up.
We just give them a box of diapers, a large package of wipes, formula (when she was on it), 2 bottles to leave there, water to mix the formula, and extra clothes. They let us know if we need to replenish anything.

Most day cares will not give any over the counter medication and only prescription medication. We have to bring a sheet for the crib, change of clothes(I bring more than one). Diapers and wipes (they tell me when they need more). The bottles I had to bring made up and labeled with his name on them. When he used a pacifier for naps I brought that as well.

I only gave diapers, wipes and clothes.
Our center will not mix formula for you so you need to send in bottles each morning.
Also they will need a Drs note to give any meds so I wouldn't bother sending in even Tylenol would be a waste.

We keep diapers, wipes, extra clothes, extra bibs when DS was younger (and spit up a ton!), and his sheets/blankets. And pacifer. Bottles were sent in each day. I mixed the formula at home. They wouldn't not mix it, nor would I want them to. I think some moms leave RTF.

Re: What to leave at daycare?
Just diapers, wipes, diaper cream, and 1 sheet per week. I sent in BM bottles and an extra change of clothes daily. I sent in replacements quite often because I don't want to lose anything and I don't think they have a lot storage space.
My daycare won't administer medicine, not sure what the policy for most is.

The only thing I brought daily was bottles - otherwise, I had 2 sheets, 2 outfits, diapers and wipes there.
