what to feed
As I posted earlier Sara got the OK to try cheese, egg yolks, pastina and yogurt. I still plan to give her some baby food since she has no teeth. Can someone post their 8 month olds sample lunch and dinner - what they eat so I get an idea as to what to give her. I want to be sure she is eating enough.

By 8 months Emily was refusing to feed babyfood -- so she was on all table food and got a bit of whatever we were eating...
Some of her all time favs (and they are good for no teeth being that she only got her first and only tooth a month ago at 11 months) are...
avacados cut into chunks
grilled cheese sandwiches
mandarin orange slices
steamed brocolli spears that she sucks and gnaws on
sweet potato fries
macaroni & cheese
pasta w/ tomato sauce (she prefers ones that she can pick up like elbows and tubetinis)
baby bananas (so I don't waste a big one that she ca't finish) cut into small chunks to pick up
