What to eat?
I need some suggestions.
Its going on day 3 again of keeping nothing but fluids down and Im at a loss of what to try to eat?
Bagels and toast no longer stay down. Even Crackers are coming right back up.
I tried applesauce...no good.
Rice kinda makes me gag but havent tried.
Nothing with eggs or potatoes.
I am managing on some pudding snacks and bananas but what the heck else can I try

Re: What to eat?
What about some old-fashioned oatmeal? Maybe be daring and mix in some fruit too, for some extra nutrients? The oatmeal could be really filling, and very nutritious!
Feel better

What about a mild soup, try to get with low-sodium but maybe some small chicken pieces for nutrients & protein?

Ok, I have another one...what about a nice fresh smoothie, with some nice fresh fruits, again, for the nutrients?

I should have put chicken on the no no list. No chicken...
Soup I have been doing, broth...getting heartburn from it...but its still a good choice.
Oatmeal I didnt think of, and will try. Thanks!!!

Yes, definitely try the oatmeal. Always feels good when I'm not feeling well, although it is heavy, so don't eat as much as you think you can at first, if that makes sense. It will hit your stomach like a brick if you eat too much. And definitely try the smoothie, it could be really refreshing too.

I feel your pain I really do I was so sick for the first 5 months...
chicken was a big no-no for me too but maybe someone can a boil some chicken for you and in the broth you can cook rice, orzo or elbow pasta and not eat the chicken all the nutrients will be in the broth and whatever else you cook in it
good luck

Re: What to eat?
try some bland crackers like saltines, some of the other kinds are actually very greasy.
I like the smoothie idea? You could add some protein to it?
along the lines of oatmeal, if that works cream of wheat.
I also lived on mashed potatoes when I was PG.
Maybe try those frozen pretzels????

Re: What to eat?
I think oatmeal is a good suggestion.
Smoothies are probably good too, if you want to take the time to make them.
Just don't eat the elbow macaroni at my house!!

Yuck, your macaroni!!!!!!!
I just thought of this too- Stonyfield sells yogurt smoothies (other brands do too, but I like Stonyfield b/c they don't have aspartame), that are delicious and organic, so it's just like making your own. They're sold right by the yogurt, and they're delicious. Great source of calcium and protein too I believe. You could always try regular yogurt too!!

Re: What to eat?
If you can stomach broth - put some pasta - like spaghetti or something in it - it is easier to get down than the rice - just cook the pasta in the broth.
Jello, crackers, toast.
Can you get eggs down? Scrambled eggs?
apple sauce.

NOTHING really helped with the morning sickness, except cherry slurpees from 7-11, they helped

Re: What to eat?
For some reason the only thing that stayed down was Cheerios when I had the stomach flu. Maybe you can eat a handful every half an hour or so. I am so sorry your morning sickness is so bad. Lots of hugs!

Re: What to eat?
The only thing that worked for me was the insides of a plain bakes potato....nu butter or anything. Sounds boring and bland but it worked. I slowly worked my way up to adding a little butter
