What to do, What to do . . . (Breastpump)
I have a 20% coupon for BBB that expires Monday. The BP that I planned on getting is the Hands-Free Medela Free Style which is 379.99. With this coupon, I would save $76 which is a nice amount of money. However, I know it is normally suggested to wait and make sure all works out with BF prior to investing in a pump. I am not sure what to do- do I just go for it and buy the pump in advance so I can save the money on the cost of it or do I forgo the savings and wait to make sure all works out ok with BF?

Is it a Buy Buy Baby coupon or a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon? They wouldn't let me use the Bed Bath & Beyond coupon for Medela products.

It's a Buy Buy Baby coupon and Medela is NOT listed in the exclusions

I would say to wait as coupons come all the time. You should be able to sign yourself and DH up seperately for extra coupons.

I would wait - they send BBB coupons every 2 months plus they do take BRU coupons.

I said buy now with savings b/c you can return it as long as you don't open it (or break the seal, I think). When is your due date?

You only have a very limited time to return the unopened pump. I think it is 45 days from the date of purchase but it may be less - so I would still wait until you know your milk comes in and you can BF. I would call BBB and ask them the policy that way you know how long you have.

Definitely put it on your registry. Even if no one buys it, you will get it discounted as you're offered a coupon to "finish your registry."
AND, you can use your BBB coupon on top of the discount you will get to finish your registry.
Who knows... someone might be generous and purchase it for you...
BTW - it's a great pump!!! If I didn't dry up so soon, I would be still using mine. I'll save it for future baby #2.

I would wait and make sure BF'ing and pumping works for you. You can always rent for a few weeks to make sure and then buy. The LCs at my hospital sold pumps cheaper than BBB/BRU. Also, coupons will keep on coming and you get the completion coupon at the end. I actually ended up buying my Medela online and saved more (plus no tax).

Re: What to do, What to do . . . (Breastpump)
I am waiting to buy a breast pump. I am 100% committed to breast feeding and I (hopefully) do not plan on pumping for the first 2-3 weeks unless medically necessary. I am going to send DH out at that time to buy a pump. I just want to make sure it all goes well before I spend $300 and it doesn't work.
Someone told me that you can't return upopen breastpumps to BRU...it is final sale. Not sure if that is true or what the case is at BBB. I would just wait and use the 10% coupon you get for remainining items on your registry.

Re: What to do, What to do . . . (Breastpump)
Just FYI - from what DH told me when he went to bru and bbb to buy my bp (don't ask) they all told him there are no returns on those items.
Unopened or not, they are not returnable.

Re: What to do, What to do . . . (Breastpump)
and Buy Buy Baby says online that you have 90 days to return with receipt and there is an asterisk for the breast pumps saying they can be returned only if unopened. Interesting . . . .
"Returns With Receipt Dated Within Last 90 Days Items in new condition* returned with original packaging and an original receipt or packing invoice dated within 90 days of purchase will receive a full refund or store merchandise credit for the price paid. Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable *Formula, Breast pumps and accessories, Maternity Undergarments For the health and safety of our customers, formula is non-returnable and only unopened breast pumps, breast pump accessories and maternity undergarments can be returned."
