What to do? Toddler being a picky eater
My DD is 17 months and used to be a great eater. Lately she is so picky, it is a struggle to get her to eat anything good and vegetables the worst. I had been making her things like eggs and quesadillas and hide spinach in them but she is onto me with that now. She has recently become obsessed with these fruit cereal bar things and only wants to eat those for snacks and breakfast. She will not eat her eggs, pancakes or anything I make her. I hate to do it but I find myself giving into her and giving her the fruit cereal bars. DH says I shouldn't give them to her and just let her figure out that if she doesn't eat what we give her, she will be hungry. I think she is too young for that and wouldn't comprehend but I'm also worried I'm setting her up for poor eating habits. Any advice?

I actually have to agree with your husband. Dont be surprised by how much they do comprehend. She knows if she doesnt eat eggs shes gonna het the cereal bar so whats the motivatiom to eat the eggs? None...
17 months is def old enough to know that.
I would not give into her and she will get it.
