What to do? Prof Photo or Sutdio?
For DS1's 1 yr shots we had a Prof photographer do it. WE got a really good deal. Did it at a park and they came out beatutiful.
Also got the CD so I made a photobook of them.
For DS1's 2nd b-day we already moved to NJ and I opted to go to the Kiddie Kandids at the local BRU. THe pics came out great. Of course no CD, but got lots of pics at a great price (with coupons of course) and put the pics around the house.
For DS1's 3rd bday coming up we're going to BRU again for his 3 yr pics.
DS2 will be 1 in July. I wanted to do prof shots at a location overlooking the city. The prices are a bit high and now I'm just considering do his 1 yr shots at the BRU too.
WHat would you do?
$300 or more for Prof shots for DS2's 1 yr shots b/c you did it for DS1 (much cheaper then)
OR
get 1 yr shots at BRU too and it'll be a fraction of the price, but won't have the whole "photojournalistic" pics and style?

I'd probably do the prof pics just this one time for DS2.
I cheaped out on NB photos for DD2 (went to JCP and they were terrible) so I plan on splurging on 1yr pics.

I would do the pictures in June and combine both birthdays and do it in the city.

I would do the pictures in June and combine both birthdays and do it in the city.
I actually want to do it separate b/c I give the studio pics taken for my mom and MIL as part of their mother's day gift. I have it booked for the 1st week in May.
