What to do in soho Sunday?
I've posted about this before, but....spending the day with a close friend. She is going to be induced March 15 (or earlier so she is very pregnant), going through cancer treatments (chemo, etc).
She obviously can't drink Can't take public transportation Can't do a lot of walking or be out in the cold Can't do a massage bc she has a pic line in her arm for the chemo.
Ok, so with all that said, thoughts?
We were thinking brunch, shopping, then a late lunch. So basically eating.
I want to cheer her up and give her a day off from all the sht she's been through in the last month.

There are so many good restaurants in that area and dessert places. Def hitting up rice to riches.
In addition to food recs, anything thing fun we could do?
Hmm, maybe color me mine or something. We could make something for our kids, her soon to be son.

Is she losing her hair? If she isn't, maybe blowouts at drybar? Or if you're shopping, go to Bloomie's Soho and you can get makeup done too?

Oh that sounds fun. I know she will lose her hair from treatment but I don't know if she has already lost any yet. I'll wait to suggest the hair thing until I see her. Makeup at bloomies soho would be fun.

The blowout sounds fun but really if and only if her hair hasn't shed at all yet. If it has started to shed or her scalp is tingly, then the hair is well on its way to fall out, unfortunately.
The makeup idea is great! SoHo also has a lot of great little chocolate shops that you could pop into. Maybe a pottery or ceramics painting place?
