What to do at DS first birthday - what do you fill pinata with?
So we have decided to have at house and have some people over im a little nervous consideing its in feb and my house isnt the largest. We are trying to keep the budget down but no matter what it seems to creep up. So winnie the pooh is the theme. I ordered a pull string pinata and now stumped as to what to fill it with. Most of the kiddie are older than my son but there will be a few other 1 year olds Do i get something separate for them. Do you need to do party favors if you fill the pinata? What other games or suggestions do you have? I really feel as if im doing my son an injustice because im not doing this whole big fancy party for his fist but we are going to disney world the following month. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you might have.

Im still deciding whether to do a piniata or not... but if I do... I was thinking of filling it with those little bags of goldfish and animal crackers and then maybe little bags of mini m&m's. Maybe little bags of pretzels too. We are having a party at home with family and close friends (and their kids). The kids range from 9 months-2 1/2 years. Im also going to do a little bags for each of the kids. Im filling it with little toys (stickers, finger puppet, bubbles, play-do, and a cupcake that grows in water - the party is cupcake themed).
Michaels has a nice $1 section, Christmas tree shop has some stuff, and im going to stop at the $1 store too.

The bigger kids around 4+ love the pinata. I would do the small packages of fruit snacks, gold fish, animal crackers and maybe one mini bag of candy. They also love those little cheepo toys. Let the bigger kids go for it when the pinata breaks and be ready with bags of prefilled goodies to hand out to the babies.
