What to do
If the center of your room is not the center of your dining room table?
My chandelier is not centered over my table but it is in the center of the room.

Re: What to do
Is there other furniture in the room that's preventing you from centering the table?

Re: What to do
I would probably just move the chandelier. It definitely doesn't need to be centered in the room. When I do my dining room, if we decide to do a chandelier (still not sure about it yet), it will be centered over the table, which will definitely not be in the middle of the room.

Re: What to do
ours is the same....centered int he room but not over the table. we are planning on getting some more chain for the fixture and swagging it so it will be over the table. I know the "correct" way is to make another hole and move the fixture but I really dont want to have to redo the whole celing. when it comes time to paint, we will do it.
