what to do?

dh went to get me this necklace i have been eyeing. they were closed though..

i REALLLLLY want it, but we cant really afford it.

Should i still take the money and get myself it???

or not???

also, i feel bad, i didnt get him anything.

what should i do?

i feel guilty buying it, but i really want it!

if you can't afford it, don't get it. It's a thing, seriously. DH went and got me a Couch bag for Christmas this past year when we couldn't really afford it (but he felt SO bad that I had just miscarried and wanted to cheer me up).

You'll need the money someday....try to do something that is SO meaningful yet doesn't cost a thing...see how creative you can be, and that memory is priceless

Honestly, with everything going on right now I'd save the money. This oil crisis is going to cost the average price of food and EVERYTHING else to rise... the food we buy at the gorcery store travels an average of 1500 miles to get there.... mostly imported and that takes oil. It's just going to be more expensive to keep the same standard of living.

Can you hold off and make it your one year anniversary present? Maaybe get something small or better yet do something cheap and create a memory.
