What to bring to a family visit
Dh and his family aren't close but we have plans to go see one if his cousins this weekend. I think I've met them maybe 4 times. They have a 3yo dd. we are going to their house for about 2 hours for lunch (I think they will have good I'm not even certain). I hate showing up empty handed...what should I bring? I'm torn between dessert (cookies or a cake) or a gift for dd. or should we not bring anything?

I'd bring dessert. If you bring a gift they might feel odd they don't have something for your child.

I would bring cookies/dessert and bubbles for the kids to play with.

probably like cookies or brownies - and bubbles or sidewalk chalk for the kid...
