What time are you taking the kids Trick or Treating?
Just wondering what time everyone is going out?? I was thinking around 3 or 4??

Probably around 5-6. We're going to wait til more people are home from work to maximize our candy payload 
We will have 13 kids, ranging in age from 11 years old to 2 months!!

we're starting at like 3:30- 4 when the older kids get home from school and we get the costumes on. We have a group of about 15 kids ranging in ages from 13 to 10 months. Usually what happens is we go out with everyone around 4 and the little ones(under 3/4) go home between 5-6 and the older ones stay out with my DH till they're done. Sometimes not till 8.

about 5:30 after dinner so hes not whining for food the whole time lol. also alot of people arent home till around then anyways. so we will go for about an hour or so around our neighborhood then come home and let him unwind before bedtime.

We've never gone before 6:00pm. We wait until people are home from work and after dinner. Going earlier you're lucky if there's 3 people home and the kids aren't happy with that, lol! We'll go at 6:00pm this year. In our neighborhood, there are a TON of kids. We actually wanted to go out a little earlier 2 years ago, but NO ONE was out until a specific time. It's like everyone was waiting for the first person to go.

We are hosting after school snacks for the kids on our street and then we'll all go out together when they are ready, probably around 4:30. At least they can trick or treat around our 8 houses to start while we wait for more people to be home. It's about 12 kids 2-14.

I think our wagon train with neighbors is going around 4:30 after the older kids and teacher moms get home from school.

If you go early you may be knocking at empty houses. I dont get home from work until 4:30 so I think well eat an early dinner and then head out at 5:30. I hate cooking after we get home - Im so tired and have to give them baths, check candy etc.

I am in the minority -- we will probably go around my neighborhood to the people who I know will be home in the late morning before DD'S nap. DH has to work at 5 and he wants to be a part of it too. Then I will probably bring her to my parents' neighborhood after 4 for a little while. She is sick today and will probably just be starting to feel better, but I don't want to have her around other kids so I won't be joining any groups, unfortunately.

My neighborhood does the same thing. They always go when the kids get home which is about 4-4:30ish.... The parents keep a cooler in the wagon and drink the night away while crowds of kids trick or treat all at once. I can't wait to join them this year!

4:30 or so.......
Their daycare is having festivities so I may keep them there until close to 4 and then go to a local friend and then around our neighborhood.

Early evening if we go in our neighborhood. Haven't decided yet. Most people don't get home before 5ish though, so it's a waste to go earlier.

We don't go until it starts to get dark out. The kids like it better and more people are home and prepared.
