What the heck to bring to Texas
I'm going to Texas next week to visit SO's Mom and I know it's HOT! What the heck do I bring? I was looking at the dresses in Old Navy but I'm only 5'5 so those maxi dresses won't do it. I also have big boobs. LOL. What the heck?
Oh..did I mention his mom is getting married? I'm so screwed! I need a casual dress for that too! They are getting married at the justice of the peace. Help!!  
TIA!
It's 90 degrees here so I'm afraid of how hot it will be there!

I use to live in Texas and it runs about 104 this time of year. But it's a dry heat so no frizzy hair!! !! As for what to wear! What about this Dress !!! Also they have tons of cute clothing!

It's def hot there.. I just got back on Sunday night..but to me it's no different than here during the day except that at least here it cools down at night whereas there it's like 80 at night lol
I would pack whatever you'd wear here to be honest.. tanks, shorts, dresses, denim cut offs, etc.

That's really cute! Thanks! Is that too heavy though? I don't know..I'm envisioning everything basically sticking to me b.c of the heat. 
I'm going to hit up American Eagle for shorts and tanks but the dress is what's making me crazy. She says to be casual but I'll end up wearing a beach cover dress, I'm clueless.

Believe it or not it doesn't feel like new york. It's hot but it's a dry heat, so it's not like you go outside and feel like you need a shower after coming in. But make sure to bring some saline for your nose. Whenever we had NY family come and visit they always got nosebleeds! Lol! Plus EVERYWHERE has central Air so you'll probably freeze more then anything. Lol!!! I miss it! They have tons of cute casual dresses on that site, but that one just stuck out to me. Def hit up american eagle for shorts, and tanks, and cami's.

I guess it depends on what part of Texas, because I lived there for almost 15 years and never remember a dry heat!
I would just bring a bunch of light sundresses -- only because I'm not a tank and shorts kind of girl. I would also bring a large summer bag to hold a cardigan. Texans love their a/c and it's COLD everywhere inside.

ohhhh i LOVE houston!!! i go 3-4 times a year!!
i usually bring sundresses..and jeans believe it or not
it's a different type of heat than it is here..and there's been times i was there over the summer and it was hotter here-houston is close to the gulf and i think that chills it a bit
