WHAT THE ????
Ok, I'm officially FREAKED OUT!
I'm at home today (took the day off).
I came into my bedroom to take a shower. My bathrobe was hanging off the bed, so I grabbed it and went into the bathroom. NOTHING ELSE WAS ON THE BED.
I go to take my shower, came back out, and still nothing was on the bed. I went to the closet to pick out some clothes and placed them on the bed (pair of jeans and sweater).
Went back into the bathroom to put on some lotion.
Came back out and two OTHER pairs of jeans are laying on the bed. Nice and neatly folded. I know I didn't pull them out because they're in one of the closest, on a shelf that's too high for me to reach. And I know they weren't there on the bed before I went to shower.
I'm freaked out over here!
Now, the truth is, we bought this house from an estate sale. The husband died in the house about 5 years ago and then the wife died in this house about 2 years ago. When we bought it from the daughter, we met for the first time at the closing. When she saw me, DH and Alex, she started crying, saying she was so happy a young family was moving in because her mother just loved children, and went on and on about how her parents lived in this house for 30+ years, and chose this house because it had a "good" vibe, and felt it was important to buy a house that was "happy". She said her mother and father adored the home, and she had so many wonderful memories here, and knew that we would have just as many wonderful memories.
So, I wonder if Ms. Kravitz, while she may enjoy Alex, doesn't agree with my style?

I would be freaked out too....and since you said they were on a shelf I guess Alex didn't put them there. Is your MIL still there?

maybe they came out of the wash? MIL folded them and placed them there for you?

This on one of my biggest fears right now as we are buying a new home.
We are buying a home built in 1890 and having buyers remorse because of this.
