Re: What sunscreen are you using?
hey, girl. skincare guru, here. LOL.
during the day (at work) I just wear Bare Minerals, since it has 15. for body moisture, i use Lubriderm SPF 15. I've tried to wear sunscreen under the makeup, but it's too much and I get oily. The makeup is better than nothing.
For beach days, or if I'm really in the sun, I use Banana Boat Sensitive Skin Sunblock 30 on my face, and Original Bombshell SPF 15 on my body....the Banana Boat leaves the face a little white, but it works and no breakouts!

Re: What sunscreen are you using?
Forgot to answer my own question!
I was using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch sunblock, spf 45 on my face. I like Coppertone products for the body.
Lana, I'm super oily too. I like Dr.Feelgood by Benefit- it really soaks up all the oil and keeps whatever makeup from looking gross. No sunscreen in it, though.

This is the next one I want to try. I really need sunscreen and I'm often outside during the day, but I can't seem to find a decent one that isn't greasy or doesn't make me break out.

Re: What sunscreen are you using?
I know. I wear Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion under my makeup, and that's okay, but when I try to add in a true s/screen, because it's good to, it's just too much for my skin.
Have you tried Bare Minerals makeup? Having the spf in it is nice, and it's so light!
Dry Touch is supposed to be good. It's one of the few US screens that is stable, meaning it doesn't wear away after a short while. For me, I can't wear any screen with avobenzone. It's tricky to find ones without it

Donna- give it a try! There is another Neutrogena one that looks like a deoderant stick that is supposed to be good, too.
I've been meaning to try Bare Minerals makeup! How long does it sit until you start to get oily?

Re: What sunscreen are you using?
When I am in swimwear, we use only No Ad. It is really moisterizing and it is waterproof. It really is the only stuff that smells nice and isn't greasy. I use 30, DH uses 15. We really should both use 30 but he won't listen to me For everyday, I use Neutrogena face moisterizer with 15 spf.

Re: What sunscreen are you using?
Lana, thanks for the suggestion! I don't usually wear makeup daily, because I feel like it just clogs my pores, but I do need the sunscreen with my fair skin, so I generally just look for that.
I am going to try that Neutrogena one, Rebecca. I have one now from Neutrogena, but I am sort of sorry I got it. It is supposed to be anti-aging with sunscreen, but in the small print (which I noticed AFTER buying it) it says that since it has AHA in it, it could make your skin more sensitive to the sun. I was like "WHHAAA?"

Makes no sense to me either.

That's what I use too! It's not matte, but not as greasy as all others.

that is silly....i think it just means you are even more sensitive...since AHAs like salicylic acid make you more prone to burning....but if this is SPF with AHA, you should be okay. Just don't sit out or use it as your tanning 'screen, if that makes sense.

Re: What sunscreen are you using?
Rebecca, BE stays matte for a few hours. I touch up my nose with Mac Blot powder and I'm okay.
I should add that the Banana Boat block still lets you get a little tan...just no burn. I don't get tan on my face like I do on my body, though...cause I'm a hypocrite like that and put 15 on my body and virtually hide my face!
